Sunlight does not follow a mood board
It shifts with time, season, orientation and surrounding buildings, exposing the difference between a beautiful image and an inhabitable room.

Screens, overhangs and openings need to be tested as environmental devices, not decorative motifs
Their performance affects glare, heat, privacy and the changing character of rooms throughout the day.

The design consequence is expressed through distance, shared and private routes, landscape filters, acoustic care and boundaries that can be crossed by choice.

Atmosphere becomes credible when design accepts that light has behaviour of its own.
