Detail should reduce uncertainty at the point of action
Its scale, location and relationship to schedules and larger drawings need to follow the real sequence of construction.
The design consequence is a clearer hierarchy of information, traceable references and documents that remain usable under real site pressure.
Precision stops being fussiness when it remembers whose next decision it is meant to support.
